| Citation: | The pornography tour ends in confusion on June 11-1982 at Brussels in Belgium. In this tour the public witnessing a chaotic reminder: The last song of this show, 'the cure are dead', was an improvisation with Robert Smith on drums, Lol Tolhurst on bass, Simon Gallup on guitar and Gary Biddles, Cure roadie - and Simon's friend, on vocal, whos criticizing Smith and Tolhurst. Following the concert, Simon Gallup left the group.
Robert Smith: "Before the concert, Lol and I sat in the dressing room, miserable because we knew it was the end. The show was quite flat and, during the encore, Biddles came on and started singing 'Smith's a wanker, Tolhurst's a wanker, only Simon's worth anything in this band'. I was drumming, so I stopped, threw the drumsticks at the back of his head and told him to fuck off. Everyone looked at each other... and that was it." |

Ben t'as pas le bouquin 10 Imaginary Years ? 
Le titre "the Cure are Dead" a été baptisé par un bootlegger. C'est plus une impro assez moyenne qu'autre chose. |
