Notes: Great to see The Cure on this side of the pond! I wish I could make the entire NYC run, but this is probably it for me. I'm usually keen to listen to any bands' new material live, but I'm not very impressed by these new songs. On the plus side, the visuals and Simon's bass playing were amazing on this show. First nights are usually a warm up so I'll be following setlist.fm to see if they bring out more oddities to the setlists. It was great to hear Three Imaginary Boys and the Plainsong/Disintegration encore. I think this is a pretty good capture of the night. There's some crowd noise here and there, including some screamers that I tried to mitigate through spectral cleaning the best I could, but far from terrible.
